Syndicate Books is a new publishing company that specializes in restoring to print & digital availability important works of crime & mystery fiction.
The lead project for Syndicate Books is the North American publication, in some cases for the first time, of the complete works of the late British writer, Ted Lewis. Most famous for his 1969 criminal underworld masterpiece, Get Carter, Lewis wrote eight other novels including two more novels starring Lewis's most memorable invention: Jack Carter. Originally titled Jack's Return Home, Get Carter has been adapted to film three times, most famously by director Mike Hodges and starring Michael Caine as Carter.
